Jiggy

This is Jiggy. He is 8 weeks old and is a chocolate labradoodle. We got him from an awesome breeder in Sacramento. We are very happy with him.

Well, let me start with this…  we are PLEASED!!!  Check out the video on youtube and then read away!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqOYxD9kw9k

When I first picked him up from the cargo place (he got there 5 minutes after me), I opened the kennel and he licked my hand.  I stuck my head in and he licked my face.  Sweeeeet start.  Then I took him out of the kennel and he got a little nervous.  He rode home on my lap – tense at first and then fell asleep for the last 15 minutes.

I brought him in and it was a total surprise to the kids.  I am gonna let you watch the video – only that can explain the fun!  I was surprised how calm the kids were about it then my wife told me that she told the kids to be quiet and not jump around for the “surprise” so they would not scare the puppy or my infant.  They contained themselves pretty well for a few minutes…

He is a perfect fit for us so far.  Confident, sweet and loves people.  She is definitely “mouthy”!  Loves to bite and nibble on everything.  Lot’s of toys to help with that.  The kids know that if the puppy nibbles on them that he wants to bite something and they go get him a toy he can bite.  Kids are trainable.

Jiggy and my current dog (Lina) are great friends already.  Lina scared him with her size at first but they warmed up to each other VERY quickly.  My parents brought their dog over today and they played and played!  We are now going to my wife’s parents house to play with their dogs.  They have three little ones there (one is 8 weeks old).  Should be a ton of fun!

Anyway, he is GREAT!  I will send you more pics soon…

Thank YOU for such an awesome video - what a great family! I think I got a little dust in my eye while watching it...!

Dexter - (Mommy and Daddy are getting married! WooHoo!)

.

Hello Christina!

I wanted to give you a quick update of Dexter's first 2 weeks home! He is 10 weeks old now! Gosh it feels like it's been a year!  He is already a "boat dog" and loves to run around the boat. Dexter is adjusting marvelously! He sleeps through the night in his crate with only 1 potty break and doesn't make a peep when he goes back in his crate. He is already trained to "sit", "come" and "down." What a smarty!! He always wants to please us and loves his treats when he is a good listener. He is 95% potty trained on the boat and goes on his "UGOdog" almost every time. He is still working on his aim. :)

We are so in love with him. His Papa takes him to the office a few days a week to work and I have him here on the boat in my free time. We are arranging lots of puppy play dates this week with his friends so he can socialize right away. He is also starting Sirius puppy classes tomorrow. He has such personality and reminds us of RubyDoo- his Mom. Makes us laugh constantly. Dexter's favorite thing to do is chew on his stuffed monkey and while holding on tight, he loves to be dragged around the carpet on his tummy with his legs spread flat out! I'll have to send you a video. He's hilarious.

Although we are trying not to spoil him, it's a lot of work! He gets so sad in his pen when we leave the room so we are trying to transition him slowly. When we leave him in his pen, he whines and whines, but we won't give him any attention until he is quiet. I think he'll get it really soon! We know he just loves to be with us. We are teaching him that independence is good too!

We are so grateful for ASD Companion and all of your hard work. Dexter is really beyond our wildest dreams and he impresses us every single day that passes. As I watch him sleep all curled up in the corner, I feel so proud and look forward to the many amazing months and years to come with our baby! Thank you for everything!!!!

That is the funniest thing ever!! As stated to you already, I knew you be a great family for him, or any doggie. At least he cannot sneak out the window there, unles he wants to go for a swim! PLEASE keep the pix coming - I love it!!

Jasper

1

HI Christina and family!

I thought I would share a few shots of Jasper.  He is doing great!  We had our first accident free potty training day on Friday, just a few days after he arrived.  The kids call me the potty police, but it is working, and he rarely has any accidents these days.  In fact, last night he didn’t cry to go outside at 4 am like usual…we got to sleep until 6:15 when the alarm went off!!
Jasper loves to play with the kids, he’s completely nuts over them.  I’m so impressed with how mellow yet playful he is, such a fabulous dog – you are doing a great job picking your breeders!  He spends the days sleeping on my slippers under my desk while I work, and runs around like a crazy man whenever the kids are around.  He is learning to play fetch…like all retrievers, he runs to fetch, but likes to keep the prize for himself.  I think I’m getting more exercise chasing down toys to throw than he is at that game.
I’ll keep you updated with the changes as he grows.  Thank you for such a fabulous puppy.  It took me a year to talk Kevin into getting a dog, and now he is already talking of getting a second one from you in a year or two :o)  In fact he wants a reddish girl and to name it Chewy!

Talk to you soon,

Alysia

It was great meeting you and I certainly appreciate YOUR patience in making sure we got your perfect baby to you all safe and sound! Sheesh! Let me know when you are ready for "Chewy" - I seem to have a ton of reds in the future for when Jasper is ready for a buddy! :)

Marzipan

1

Hi Christina,

Thank you SO much for spending so much time and effort to help us find our perfect puppy!  You are amazing, and I am so happy we found you in our search.  You have been unconditionally accommodating, understanding and helpful from day one.  After our first conversation, I knew I could trust you to help us find the perfect dog.  I am happy to say that after a week of having our puppy, you definitely delivered!  She is the sweetest, most playful, cuddliest, cutest thing we have ever seen!  We can’t wait to keep you updated on her progress, and we can’t wait to come back to you when we’re ready for a new brother or sister for her!

Marzi is AMAZING and probably the sweetest, cutest puppy I have ever seen.  We are OBSESSED.  She is so friendly and amazing, and just wants to be hugged and loved.  She’s even had zero accidents and only gone to the bathroom outside so far!!!!  The one area we need to work on with her is whining when in the crate – she freaked at first last night, but eventually made it through the night with minimal whining.  But today when [we] tried to put her in there she’s had a hard time.  We’re working on it though!  And it’s also to be expected.  I’ll call you later to discuss how we can help her get acclimated there, and ...also going to call you shortly to have a pre-vet discussion, to make sure we know exactly what we need for the first vet visits.

...we already love her SO much.  And it has been GREAT getting to know you and David and the family as well – you are truly amazing people, between the way you conduct your business, to the way you care for your pups, to the way you raise your children with such love and what seems like so much ease!  You make it all seem so effortless!  You are AMAZING, and I could not be happier that I found you to help me find my perfect pup, which Marzi 100% is!!!  We’re looking forward to keeping in close touch going forward, and seeing you again soon!

"Fonzi and Pinky"

HAHA! I was going to go with "Adam and Eve", but after the latest photo, I didn't want to be "siding" with anyone! Seriously, you two were AWESOME to "work" with, (if work is the even the best word), and I am so glad we could obessess on her together! I can not wait to see how that peanut progresses! She is learning from the best! Keep us updated on the prodigy!

Bodhi

1

Dear Christina, David and family, We adore our little Man.  Mr. B, the Bodster, Bodhi-boy, he brings us great joy!!  Thank you Thank you Thank you... we can never thank you enough for our little guy.  We laugh a lot around here watching him run around and play with our other dog and my friends white standard Labradoodle.  They are a crack up together.  ... I still haven't taken him in to get groomed.  I trim around his eyes and clean the gunk out of his eyes and fluff him up with a dog comb.  He is really good... he is the BEST DOG I HAVE EVER KNOWN!!!  Everybody wants a Bodhi...I tell them about your ASD Labradoodle the BEST Labradoodle breeder around...Some may call you or e-mail you.  Well, Bodhi really reminds me of Diddy when we met him at your home.  Boy that seems like eons ago.  It kinda was eons ago, for you many litters and babies have come and gone.  I saw Bodhi's photo on the page with the available dogs... I was so excited!!!  I told everyone.. BODHI MADE IT ON TO THE WEBSITE!!!  BIg time famous for him.  Well enjoy the photos... take care and happy Spring to you all,

Love, Yumi (Bodhi's Mama)

Of course he "made it" - he is the man! How cute is your daughter with him as well?! It was a pleasure meeting you and having him go to a place where I know he will always be adored! Keep the pix coming! He even looks like a Bodhi!

Charlie

1

Hi Christina,

Charlie is doing great!!!  We love her dearly...especially Juliette (our daughter).  They play so well together.  Charlie is not completely potty trained...but close : )  If she doesn't make it outside she'll go right next to the door.

Thank you for all your help and patience with doing 3 separate payments...and if you want to post any of the pictures I sent you're more than welcome!!!
Take care,
Katie

It's a tea party with the girls! That is the cutest thing ever! I am not sure who is cuter there! I also know now if I want to fly (intentionally that is), I can go to the "FlyGuy"! Very cool - I checked out you site - that is awesome! Maybe you can teach Charlie someday!

Finn

1  1  1

Hi Christina!

We wanted to give you an update on Finn.  He is doing great in his new home and already it seems as though he has been with us forever.  He has a wonderful personality and learns so fast.  He sleeps most all night now, getting us up only once or twice to go out and do his business.  He loves being outside and is very adventuresome. His favorite toy for now is "Ellie" (a soft stuffed elephant). Thanks again so much for all that you have done to ensure that we got just the right baby for us!

I am attaching some photos that Jennifer took so that you can see how well he has settled into his new home.  Will send more from time to time so you can watch him grow along with us.
Thanks again for everything!

Dan and Vallene

I told ya he was a keeper! Look at that face! I bet even his "Ellie" does not mind a face like his! I can not wait to see more of him as he grows, and even to see how bigs he gets, so please send the updates! Thank YOU for being so patient in order to finally get your perfect boy!

Jake

1  1

Jake has a new personality and we love having him around. As you told us, he wants to be at our side all the time. If he's next to me and I leave the room, he parks himself next to John. John is crazy about this dog. He takes him for long walks and watches as Jake smells things that are brand new. The road to our house is 1/2 mile and loaded with flowers and plans of all kinds. Jake is in heaven on these walks. And he loves to play on the deck with his toys -- or just bask in the sun... John takes it easy with Jake, who is low maintenance...

I visit your site every week to see the new puppies. Just window shopping!

Thanks so much,

David and John

Look at the boy! And the puppy is cute too! I want to have a Jake now as well to keep as my own! So since you snatched this one away, I am waiting for my own "Jake" in the from of a "Jackie", and she will be all mine! It was a pleasure meeting you both, and I hope we can stay in contact far beyond this chance meeting!

Toby and Bosco

1    1

Hi Christina,

Just went to the vet AGAIN to get more shots. Toby weighed in at 8.1# and Bosco at 7.3#!!! I wish they wouldn't grow up so fast.

They are both using the doggy door, mostly to go out into the yard and play. Toby, as short as he is, was jumping off of the bed to use the doggy dog (it's in our master bath) so Ken put in some stairs to the bed and Toby is using them even during the night to go outside and potty. Bosco's still a little leery of them. He's a little champ about going on newspaper when we've been out a long time in the car, Toby just holds it until we go back home. They are both so energetic and happy. We're going to have to make a serious effort at training soon....like sit, down, drop it, etc. We've tried a bit but they seem too rambunctious to listen.

They are so delightful! You know that feeling when you first fall in love with someone when you just want to devour them? (I don't know what that means) but I feel that way towards my little guys.

The Ashton FAMILY

YEAH!! You finally ahve them! How cute are they?! They are adorable together! I decided not to put the pix of your toy tattered bed on here in honor of your fondness for neatness, yet mention it anyhow! It was a long road, but hopefully worth it in the end! I know they will always be two spoiled boys! Keep the pix coming!

Bo

Puppy report card: Cuteness~A+, Disposition~A+, Sleeping through the night~B-, Potty training~D

Christina, We could not be happier with BO.  He is a lovable, funny, cuddly, absolutely adorable puppy.  He is excellent in his crate during naps and pretty good at night (he still wakes sometimes and we do a quick trip outside and right back in his crate).  The potty training is not going as well but we are working on it.  The vet said he looked great and healthy and also said how sweet he is.  Our kids are madly in love with him but he seems to prefer "Daddy" the most.  Thank-you so much for all you did for BO and raising him so well.  We will keep in touch, Chris and Candi Bodine

Ahh man! He is making me look bad with the pottying? Geez...btu I think he can get away with it with that face, for a week or so! It was great working with you, and I am so glad you finally have your baby! I hope he si at least letting you sleep now as well. It's like having kids all over again!

Ginger - A Christmas Story!

  1     1

First of all, thank you so much for our beautiful new family member.  She is amazing!  I was in heaven riding home with such a calm, loving puppy in my lap the entire trip.  Wow!  Santa came to our house a little later that evening with our bundle of joy.  The boys were absolutely amazed and thrilled.  I think the picture of Steven says it all, the pure joy in his face as he realized what Santa was holding!  The most amazing thing, however, was my Papa Joe's reaction (my 98 year old grandfather).  He has had a rough year, loosing my grandmother in August after many years of suffering.  After all the Santa excitement finally settled, the conversation came around to naming her.  The boys had a few interesting suggestions (Marcos was Steven's, LOL, until we explained that she was a girl).  But, after a few minutes, my grandfather spoke up, while holding her lovingly, naming her Ginger, my grandmother's name.  We all went quiet for a few seconds, checking to see if he was serious.  He was completely serious, saying, "she is so sweet and a little spunky.  That's a perfect name for her."  Well, you don't argue with your 98 year old grandfather!  Luckily the boys were thrilled with the name, saying she looks just like gingerbread; so the name stuck.  So, here are a few of the better pics of Ginger and last nights events.

Here's wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a very happy holiday season.  Thank you again.  Ginger has made our Christmas a terrific one!

Love, Amy and Family

Ahhh...that si the sweetest thin ever! My husband and I both got a little tear in our eye reading it! What a WONDERFUL story! I hope new Ginger can live up to her special name! The pix are priceless! Keep us updated!

Seger

Hi Christina,

Thanks for checking in. We've been meaning to write to you for a while now to let you know how Seger's doing but he's been keeping us super busy! There's so much we have to tell you.

First off, he's healthy...So thank you for taking such good care of him! ...We gradually introduced him to our house, starting with the kitchen and living room areas first, then expanding to the rest of the rooms. ...We've bought him a bunch of toys and he usually has 2-3 at any given time. He likes most of them but, as expected, there's ones he's not interested in at all. He chews A LOT so most of his toys at this point are chew toys. He also seems to like chewing on socks, jeans, trousers and PJs --- even more so than his toys. We have been discouraging that but he's been very stubborn! He occasionally lands a bite onto our skin but we yip when that happens and he seems to get the message and bites softer and/or licks the area. We know he's teething so we're not too concerned about the biting/chewing yet.

And finally, I'll leave you with his first pictures and a video. Here are the links:

Trust all is well with you, David and the kids. Take care,

Shaunak and Tiffany

I LOVE the video! Try walking arounf here with about 6 of those things hanging off your feet! And do I see a photographer in someone there? - Very nice photos! He is a cutie! I can not wait to see how big that big boy gets so keep me updated. Thanks you so much for you trust and patience!

Ruffles

Dear Christina,

Just a note to let you know how very much we love Ruffles.  She is everything we hoped for and then  more!   Her potty training is perfect so far.  As to bonding, she is stuck to me like duct tape.  She sleeps in her  crate at night and only whines about 5 minutes or less before going to sleep.  I get up with her two times a night when she whines and we go outside for only a quick minute or two.

Our trip home was fine.  she did have one throw-up in the airport and then it was business as usual.  She was good on the plane was the star of the show with all wanting to see her. She has met one cat and they are getting along fine with both giving the other a good bit of space when walking in each other's territory.  The other cat seems to be living under the bed.  They'll adjust sooner or later...

My other Christina and David came to call yesterday and were sooooo impressed.  Ruffles greeted each one and then came to sit with me.  They brought her a basket of toys and she has had a great time selecting this morning.  She is now napping on one of my slippers.  I may have to donate it to her.

Last evening when we went to church, I didn't lock her crate well and she had the run of the house.  We found her in my dressing room sleeping on one of my shoes.  She is truly a joy to us!

I would have sent photos sooner but I have a new computer and it is giving me fits.  Ruffles is wonderful.  We have never had a pup with so much "smarts".  With one try and a treat, she comes on command and sits it front.  She spends a good deal of her time in the house with us but goes out for hard play time four or so times a day.  Her crate is used only for sleeping.  She sleeps through the night wakihng up between 5:30 and 6:30.

She is beginning to get her face whiskers and has grown a great deal since you last saw her.  She has brought so much joy to our lives.  WE feel very fortunate to have found you.

I'll keep photos coming as she changes.

Happy New Year,

Mary Anne

She is adorable, yet she too is lucky to have landed with you! I would love to see thsoe beutiful pix by the xmas tree as well - What a perfect card that would make! Please continue to update me on her progress, and I can not wait to see her again soon!

Shaggy

I would like to take this opportunity to share our experience in working with ASD Companion Labradoodles.  First and foremost, Christina and her husband David, were absolutey wonderful to work with.  I use the word "work", however; they became more like friends then anything else.

It was a very difficult time in our lives when we initially met with Christina and her family.  Our beloved two year old Golden Retriever was dying of cancer, and we knew the only way we would get through it was to fill that emptiness with another special soul.  Within the first few moments of meeting Christina and her family, we felt very much at ease.  We looked around and noticed how incredibly clean and organized their home was.  They have a beautiful home and surroundings, and you can see from the first moment of meeting their dogs, that they are very well taken care of.  The first dogs we met were....all just absolutely loving, friendly, beautiful, and very social.  You can tell how much love they get from Christina, David and their children.  We just loved watching their kids interact with the dogs, and that's obviously how we would want our puppy to begin his life.  We then met the puppies, and knew right then and there, we were adopting one of them.  Everything we observed, from the family to their home, and of course their lovely dogs and puppies, we knew we were going to get a fabulous furbaby!

We did a lot of research before meeting Christina and her Labradoodles.  We had visited other breeders and we were always disappointed in one way or another.  Our dogs are like children to us, so of course we are going to take every precaution when adopting a puppy.

Christina and her family allowed us to visit our puppy (Shaggy) every weekend.  They were always very warm and welcoming, and extremely accommodating.  We could see what a fantastic Mom she is to her children, and it was quite obvious how loving she is to her dogs and puppies.

We have had Shaggy home for three days now, and it's true love!  He is so sweet, loving, friendly, smart, and very well adjusted for being such a young puppy.  He could not be more loveable, and he's just so handsome :)  He feels very comfortable in his crate, and he's only had one accident in the house in three days!  We couldn't have made a better choice when it came to selecting a puppy, he's already a beloved member of our family.  We know Shaggy will bring us so much love and happiness for many, many years to come.

One other thing, Christina was very good at sending us pictures of Shaggy, updating us with his progress, and provided us with a lot of useful information when we picked Shaggy up.  The fact that we could read the Vet report, had his schedule of vaccinations and de-worming, and all his tests results, was a huge relief for us.

For anyone I know that is interested in adopting such an incredibly loving, smart and social breed of dog, I would definitely refer them to Christina.  It's difficult to imagine that anyone could have a lovelier Labradoodle then ours ;)

Sincerely,
Karen

Thank YOU Karen and Fam! - He even smiles for photos! YOUR check is in the mail - literally! Feel free to bring him back here to "camp" again whenever YOU go camping!

Noel

1   .1

I just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying Noel. She is just a super sweet puppy and a great joy for everyone in our family. I am sure that she will never be at a loss for attention with this family of four little girls who adore her. We are enjoying teaching her how to fetch and can't wait to get started in puppy classes. I am thrilled to say that my allergies are holding up with her and it is such a blessing to have a dog in our household. Thank you so much Christina!

What adorable Pix you have! I need someone like you to take my photos - I am sure that many can attest to mu lack of photographic prowess! I am so glad things are workingout, and definitley keep in touch - It was great to meet such a great family!

Sophie

1  1  1

Sophie is a sweet little girl with a big personality! She loves her toys, playing fetch with the tennis ball, and of course playing in the hose and sprinkler.  She can still be a little timid about meeting someone new but literally within a few seconds, she is bounding around and loving attention from anyone.  We go on walks almost everyday and she is getting more and more comfortable around people and dogs. Sophie loves playing with little kids and having her belly rubbed. I call her the circus performer because she is always doing tricks on her own! We are working on obedience and crate training still, but for a puppy I have been so impressed with how smart she is and how willing she is to learn.  She is the perfect addition for us and I can't imagine having a different dog.  My husband is still deployed to the Middle East and he is counting down the days to come home and meet Sophie!  I am sending daily pictures and videos to him which he loves.  I have a feeling she's going to be a Daddy's girl in no time! I will be sure to send pictures of the homecoming!...

I think about you all the time and resist writing you an email every day with funny and sweet things sophie does! We LOVE her. It's like she's always been a part of our family.  She recently graduated from her puppy obedience school and did really well. She loved the agility course the most...imagine that from the little circus performer! She now knows sit, down, stay, rollover, wait, shake, and circle.  We are currently teaching her a little trick where we say "do ballet" and she lifts her back leg in an arabesque!!  She's actually getting a little brown tint in her fur so I keep saying Daddy Clyde is coming out in her! We took her to the lake for the first time a few weeks ago and she loved being on the boat and just belly flopped right into the water.  She's doing so well with people and being around new people, you would never know she ever had a shy bone in her!

So I attached a couple of pictures. One of sophie and my husband, Joseph, when he came home from deployment. The second is one a friend took of us out by the plane my husband flies...

Thank you so much Christina for your patience in helping me find the right dog for us. For anyone interested in a labradoodle, I would highly recommend Christina! I appreciate your thoughtfulness, knowledge, and especially humor in the process of adding a labradoodle to our family.  Sophie is wonderful!

Katie

I can not thank you enough for trusting your gut and us with Sophie, and for giving her such a great life! We appreciate the wonderful home you have given her, and hope she continues to amuse you for years to come! -I can not wait for your husband to meet her! YEAH! - They met and like each other! I LOVE the photos!

Daisy Doodle

Hi Christina,
I just want to thank you for such an adorable puppy. [Daisy Doodle] fits in so well with our family. She is just as sweet and precious as you said and then some. She is sooooo darn cute. She is like a little fur ball at my feet. I think she thinks I am you! She follows me around everywhere. She did very well last night. She slept in the puppy bed that I bought her but then we put her in her little crate in our room for the night. I did not want her to climb out of her puppy bed and wander around and maybe get hurt or scared. She did very well all night. She did not make a peep! This morning I took her out and she went to the bathroom outside. She is asleep in a little ball on the couch next to us right now. I will keep you posted and will send you some pics soon. Thanks again for such a sweet little baby! We enjoyed meeting you and your adorable family yesterday. You were just as fun and sweet in person as you are on the phone! Thanks again and I will talk to you soon!

Stephanie

p.s. Thanks for the chocolate chip cookies for the kids!

Thank YOU Stephanie and Fam...Your kids are adorable! - Don't let little Miss Daisy take over the house! ;)

Rosey and Rufus

1      1

Today we weighed them on my clay scales in a plastic colander basket - Rosey is about 7 lbs and Rufus about 9 - give or take a lot of wiggling.  They are eating well and have transitioned to Wellness Puppy Mix.  They are growing bigger by the day.  Since it was nice and hot this afternoon I thought it would be a good day to introduce them to the pool.  They were surprised by the experience but not upset and surely needed the 'bath' given the digging and exploring they have been doing in the garden and yard.  Rosey is a bit more independant in character and is always trying something new.  Rufus already responds to his name and mostly comes when called.  He's a real people dog and comes up for a hug frequently (I love that!)  Rosey knows her name but follows her curiosity around the yard.    Both are super wonderful puppies and definitely it was a great decision to keep them together.  They are a real treat...

We've finally reached a merge point with the new pups and our older dogs - they play together nicely and the "barkless" Basenji has nearly stopped barking!  You can not image how irritating a barking Basenji is...and what a surprise for us to hear him vocalize non stop.  He just wanted to be included in the play the pups are full of.  We rise early but I'm ready for a nap with the pups two hours later...they go out to pee, eat hungrily, exit to pee again, play furiously for an hour to two hours and then collapse under one of our bit easy chairs for a lengthy nap.

Swimming has continued with both(!) entering the pool on the shallow first step voluntarily to further investigate those pesky water circles that just seem to disappear - mystery of science.

Hope you are enjoying the hot weather as much as we are.

Charles

What a lucky pair of pups to have entered such a fun and attentive family! Not too many other pups or people will be able to experience a "Barkless Basenji" barking!

Thankyou is not a big enough word for the love you gave us in "Hilo", he is wonderful, slept thru the night between Tony and I's pillows, never fussed, and got up early when we got up and went potty outside first thing. last night he was running around with all the big dogs and within the first 15 minutes of being in his new home, he went to the sliding glass door/doggy door, and  2 of the labs went out, kona went out, and hilo looked at the doggy door, looked up at me, and went out the doggy door like he's always used it. he went out ran around and came back in the doggy door. so he's making himself at home.  I'll try not to bore you with every development in our new family. but I thought you wouldnt mind a thankyou for our new son.

WE LOVE HIM !!!!!!!!!
ok, is he the cutest thing you ever saw or what ! ?. its very tough to scold him when he chews or misbehaives......he looks at you thru his curls and those big bright eyes melt our hearts. its hard for us both to leave for work, we want to play with him and hug and squeeeeeeezzzzze him. well,we went on a picnic to just enjoy the start of summer last weekend, we found a snow bank and took the opportunity to show the snow to Hilo. he loved it! bit it, chewed it, even layed down to cool his spotted little puppy belly on it. we found a great wide shallow river that he watched Jack and Kona go in for a plunge and he was right on their tails up to his neck nipping at dragon flys. what a great life for the boy of ours. we could even see him smile as he napped on the ride home.

Kristi & Tony

Thank YOU guys - geez - I need to come live with some of your families! I will not let my doggies see this, or they will have some words for us!

Toby

Dear Christina,

Toby arrived at DFW airport on a Saturday night.  He  didn't want to exit his crate, but we managed to coax him out.  After that, he stuck to us like glue.  On the ride home he nuzzled next to my three children, but didn't make a sound.  Once home, we played outside with him.  He seemed to relax immediately.  He drank some water and ate a little but mostly played and explored with intrepidation.  The first night he cried a lot so he slept with us on the bed and the next night was much the same... The next few days he began to relax.

As I write this, Toby has been at our home for five days.  He is so full of love it is hard to believe.  When our last dog died I never wanted another, but now I feel guilty because I whisper in Toby's ear that I love him with all my heart and he just turns and licks my face.  Our youngest child said to me "I know I will love him always because even though he is a puppy now, this is his personality and he will be like this forever, and I love him now and forever."

Day four, Toby slept all through the night last night.  When he heard us wake up he started to make some sound.  I picked him up from the crate and he curled up in my arms, as he had done ever since arriving.  I think he has begun to forget his past family a little, because he appears to be so excited to see us.  He even jumped off the couch to greet my husband home from work this evening, (I was a little jealous!)  Toby will be loved with all our hearts.  We are incredibly grateful to have him and appreciate that this was not simple luck.  He has been bred from well cared for parents, into a loving environment.  Thank you the Conn Family.

Thank YOU for providing him with the best family a dog could hope for! How perfect is that little guy? he is equally lucky to have landed there!

Wally

..

Christina and Family,

Hello!  We finally got wireless set up in our new home so I can send an update with pictures!  We are completely in love with Wally.  He is such a great puppy and everyone who has met him as been amazed at how good of a puppy he is.  As I mentioned on the voicemail, the vet was incredibly impressed by his medical records that you provided and his physical condition.

I know puppies have accidents, I was just worried that we had done something terribly wrong when he all of a sudden had 4 in one day after only going outside since we brought him home.  Our dog-owner friend said it might be a good sign of him feeling at home and marking his territory.

We are very very happy with Wally and looking forward to watching him grow up!

Thanks and enjoy the pics!

Lia

Thank you! Hopefully he is "at home" and finding the right places to "go" again! As Dr.'s and/or Geneticists, maybe you can start solving the genetic mystery of our family now! Enjoy your baby boy and thank YOU for being such great new parents!

Lily

1 ......1

Hi Christina...

YEAH!!!!!  Lily arrived on Monday night along with 5 dead ducks in the trunk!  Yes, you read that right....Tom spent the day up north duck hunting then picked up Lily.  He was too tired to clean the ducks so figured since it was so cold the ducks would be fine in the trunk.  After a long 7 hour drive to her new home in Southern California she was happy to be here and I was not happy to see the ducks.  She seems to be adjusting great to her new digs and the kids are elated.  Emma will hardly put her down!  She is adorable and we are enjoying every minute.  Tom is claiming she is going to be a duck hunting dog!  I will keep you posted.  Thanks tons for being so wonderful to deal with.  It has been so long since we have had a puppy and you truly have helped  make the transition easy.  I appreciate all the advice and guidance.

Love,
Renee and Tom, Emma and Dane

How those ducks, Renee? ;) That is too fuuny...you all are hilarious! The pix are ADORABLE! I know she is in great hands becasue you have been as obsessive as I am with my dogs! I think you may be neglecting your kids in lieu of Lily! I am glad she is feeling better, and I can not wait to talk to you again soon! Thanks for making it fun!

Kody

1.

Christina –

As expected [my wife] melted on first sight.   Kody is doing great – slept through the night in his crate next to our bed.   He got up this morning ate, pooped outside and played with us – just like a puppy is supposed to do.   We think he’s going to be a great fit.  He also discovered himself in a mirror this morning and was concerned about the puppy locked in my closet :> !  You have a beautiful family and based on Kody you’re breeding some great dogs.   We’ll stay in touch and send you some photos of him on his first camping trip next week.

Here are some pics of Kody at 12 weeks.  Great little guy with a perfect personality.  I believe that your in-home/family raising of the puppies really gives them a great personality and good social skills.  We’ve had no problems with house training him.  He loves to snuggle and is very playful -- loves his toys and play fetch already.  We love this little guy and are really glad we found ASD Companion Labradoodles.

Chuck

Thank you! Upon meeting you, I knew you would be a great family for your Kody - HE is lucky to have landed there! What a perfect place for him!

Sadie

1  1

Dear Christina,
Thank you so much for being so kind and patient with us. You might not know this but Sadie is the only labradoodle that we have ever met. She is also the only dog we have ever purchased online site unseen from a complete stranger. So, as you can imagine purchasing her was a huge risk.   You worked really hard to answer all of our questions and guide us through the international adoption of our dog.

Sadie has turned out to be the perfect dog. She is exactly how the literature described the breed. We just adore her personality. Our vet (who does not know that we bought her on line) thinks he guided us to pick the perfect dog. I had to laugh when he examined Sadie for the first time and said ‘”this is the dog I would have picked for myself”.  It clear that you and your family put a lot of love and effort into preparing her for adoption.

Sadie is extremely affectionate both to us and to our other dog Molly. She has fit into our house very quickly. Sadie has been living with us for 2 weeks now. In this short time she has learned to go potty outside (most of the time) walk on a leash without fighting with our other dog, sit, shake a paw and lie down.  We have to say she is truly an amazing dog.

Thank you,
Jodi and Alex

Thank you! You guys are awesome! You have made her International! So now make her a Star like you have done with the kids in you classes, and your other half can solve the mystery of our family - just pretend we are plants - I think our genetic composition is similar at times! (Do not let Sadie drink and drive!)

Emma

Hi Christina,
Just thought we would give you an update on how Emma is doing.... She is doing GREAT!!! The light in our lives in this fog covered valley. She is such a good natured puppy!!!  Soooo smart and so loveable!  Yesterday she was eight weeks old and she is already potty trained! She goes to the door and lets us know she wants to go outside to go potty...WOW isn't that great? Here is a couple of recent photos.

Sincerely, Tim and Kelly Henry

I am sooo glad she made it home unscathed after that pick-up scenario! You rescued her just in time from us! That was so classy and lovely...I have told several people about that becasue it is jsut so classic us! I am so glad she gets to live with such a great family! She is a lucky girl to have made to such a great home!

Tiger and Lilly

HI CHRISTINA,
THE ONLY TIME I CAN GET A SHOT OF THESE GUYS IN WHEN THEY'RE SLEEPING. BUT THEY JUST LOOK LIKE A PILE OF BLACK CURLEY STUFF WHICH YOU'D NEVER GUESS WERE TWO ADORABLE LABRADODDLE PUPPIES. WE WERE, OFCOURSE, MADLY IN LOVE WITH THEM FROM THE FIRST MOMENT WE GOT THEM. POTTY TRAINING IS GOING WELL. THEY DON'T GO POTTY IN THEIR CRATE AT NIGHT AND HAVEN'T HAD TOO MANY PEE ACCIDENTS IN THE HOUSE, ONLY WHEN WE FORGET TO PUT THEM OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER EATING AND AFTER THEY'VE BEEN NAPING. THEY LOVE THE RAWMEAT AND VEGETABLE DIET BUT WE'RE STILL GIVING THEM SOME KIBBLE FOR BETWEEN MEALS AND FOR THEIR TEETH (CLEANING).I'LL SEND SOME BETTER SHOTS OF THEM AS THEY SLOW DOWN A BIT AND AS I GET BETTER AT "PUPPY PHOTOGRAPHY!!!
BEST WISHES,
VICKI

update:

JUST A COUPLE OF PIX OF OUR WONDERFUL TIGER AND LILLY.  THEY ARE SUCH GREAT GUYS.  LILLY IS SUCH A WIGGLE WORM THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET A VERY GOOD PICTURE OF HER...BUT TIGER IS VERY PHOTOGRAPHABLE WITH HIS WHITE, MORE PRONOUNCED DETAILS.   THEY, AT 12 WEEKS NOW WEIGH ABOUT 10-101/2 LBS.. WE ARE ENJOYING THEM SO MUCH AND CAN'T IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT THEM.  LILLY IS MORE INDEPENDENT THAN TIGER AND HAS BEEN HARDER TO POTTY TRAIN.  SHE STILL HAS OCCASIONAL ACCIDENTS IN THE HOUSE BUT WE CONTINUE TO WORK ON IT.  SHE IS SO BUSY SHE DOESN'T SEEM TO REMEMBER WHEN SHE'S IN THE HOUSE OR OUT!  THEY'LL START "SCHOOL" IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.
I'M CURRENTLY READING A BOOK WHICH YOU MIGHT KNOW CALLED "ANIMALS IN TRANSLATION" BY TEMPLE GRANDIN.  SHE'S AN AUTISTIC WOMAN WHO HAS STUDIED ANIMALS IN DETAIL AND ESPECIALLY DOGS.  SHE HAS SOME INTERESTING OBSERVATION ABOUT DOGS AND AUTISM.  IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT, I'LL SEND IT TO YOU WHEN I'M FINISHED. LET ME KNOW.
HAPPY SUMMER,
BEST WISHES,
VICKI

Thank YOU for taking bro AND sis to live out their lives together with you! They look like they couldn't be happier! (And see folks, I told ya boys CAN be easier than girls - eventhough they are ALL perfect nonetheless!)

Samantha

1      1

Hey Christina,

Brandon, Samantha's dad.  First and foremost Samantha rocks we absolutely adore her.  She is well behaved, does tons of tricks and is like an additional child in our family.

I saw on the web site Sophia?  Is this the dog I was [also] trying to sell my wife on?  I am only curious because I know you have the guardian program and my mom would be interested in her.  She loves Sammy and if Sophia is anything like her sister, my mom would be a perfect home.

Here are a couple pictures of Samantha, my daughter thinks it is cute to dress her up.  Ugh I hate it but Sammmy loves it.

Thanks, Brandon

Ahhh...the family who swiped my potiential breeder pick resurfaces! Glad to see you are living in such a manly household! Sammy is adorable, and thanks so much for taking such great care of your new baby!

Chance

1

Hey Christina
Just wanted to give you a little update on Chance... we COMPLETELY  have fallen in love with him... he is doing great we are a little tired but we love hanging out with him and playing with him. I'm sending you some pictures of him. thank you for giving us this wonderful little baby.
 Daniella and Len

How cute is HE? #6 was the right one for you all! And you know where to find us when you are ready for that companin for him, btu I am sure he gets PLENTY of attention as it is! Thank you for being such an amazing family for him - he loooks very happy there!

Niamh

1

Hi Christina, here are some pictures of Niamh and Brennan I took about a week ago.  You can see she loves her big brother... he on the other hand just puts up with her. They play a lot and she is not afraid of him one bit. He has been really good with her!

My husband can't believe just how good she is. When David met Niamh...over the weekend he liked her, but she, like all of us who know him, is not to sure about him.
Enjoy, Cathie

Cathie, what a great home AND name for your baby girl! Look at that adorable face....going after the innocent face of Brennen! - He will forever wonder what happened to his peacful solitude! Thank you for giving her such a wonderful home!

Daisy

.

Dear Christina,

All is going super.  Daisy is a great dog!  She is a potty champ! (She has had only a couple of accidents in the house.) She even whines at the door to go out sometimes.  She likes her crate and sleeps through the night.  She only cried the first night.  She visited our vet (Arbor View Vet. Clinic in Roseville) on Friday and got her shots.  I should mention, the vet was impressed with the paperwork you gave us and said you seemed like a very nice, organized breeder.  He's right of course =).

Our kids are in love with Daisy! She is such a good dog! She has even learned to walk on a leash and has gone on three walks with us around the block. (The vet said little walks around the neighborhood were OK and she really likes them.)   I can't believe how quickly she learns.  I was nervous about what puppyhood would bring but so far I have been pleasantly surprised with how smooth everything is going.  I have attached a few (I mean 8!) recent photos.  I believe I took them on Sat.

I will keep you updated. Thanks again for everything!

Sincerely,
Cristin and Family

How cute is she and your kids as well?! I am so glad the little girl "made it" it to live with such a great family! I told you I would not be able to pick just a couple photos! Thank you for giving me great reason to always fight for EACH pup, regardless!

Maxx

Hi Christina,  We love Maxx....a very lovely puppy......so nice to have him in my life....and I believe Gracie will enjoy as well...we are still getting acquainted but it is very pleasant having Maxx around...

Maxx is delightful.....very lovely puppy.  [He] is doing well and Gracie has been a good big sister....Charlotte will be with me all next week.  Maxx is wonderful therapy for a little girl who misses her mommy.  Karen

Karen AND Charlotte, you have been doing a wonderful job with Maxx! He looks very well loved, and happy there! I hope that you will continue to send me updates, and let me know how he is getting along with his new furry siblings! Thank you!

Mocha (AKA "Iris")

          .

Hi Christina,

Oh my goodness Iris is such a precious puppy.  It took us about 2 hours to get home because of traffic from Labor Day, but she was so good.  She just slept on Shania.  She didn’t get sick and didn’t whine.  She slept in Shania’s room in a crate last night and did just great.  Our daughter Erika said that she whined when Shania left for school this morning.  Shania wants to name her “Mocha” because of her fur.  I figure she probably has a legal name but am hoping that it’s okay to rename her. She is definitely a love bug.

Thanks for your help and we will be talking with you soon I’m sure.

Deborah : )

Thank you for taking such great care of your new baby! I know she is getting MORE than enough attnetion there, and we apprecaite you keeping her in such great health! Has "dad" got a chnce to walk his new manly dog down the street to see the guys yet? ; )

Max

Hi!  Sorry for the long delay....argh!  It has been so busy around here lately and my little boy has been sick now for 2 weeks.  Not fun!!...

I have lots of pics of Max, just need to get a new card reader!  Can't transfer any of the pics to my computer!  ARGH!!!!  I will go get one this weekend!

Max is a load of fun and is doing wonderfully.  Today was the first accident in over 9 days!!!!  Yeah!!!  He seems very happy here with us and the kids and cat all adore him.  He and our tuxedo kitty are like old friends and LOVE LOVE each other!  It is a great match!!  Max is very talkative and makes the cutest sounds.  He rarely barks, but seriously makes these sounds like he is talking...it is SUPER funny.

I can't wait till this little boy is 4 months...then I will be taking him everywhere with me.  He gets sad when I leave for errands etc., so I am SO looking forward to taking him along for car rides  :0)

Talk soon,

Jen

I knew he would be the perfect boy for you and you for him! Now all I need are some pix! Maybe he will start talking beofre my daughter Enjoy your boy!

Zoe

Christina,
Just a little update on our Zoe.  She is doing great and is the most  fun, lovable and adorable puppy. She does everything with such glee.

The first two nights she missed her family, but after that she has been in her crate every night and is doing great.  Had a few wet accidents in the kitchen, but other than that she is doing everything else outside. She is one smart dog. She is the main attraction for the kids in the neighborhood. They even ask if she can come out to play. She is growing so fast---up to six pounds.  Am sending you picture.

Pat and Tom

I am glad she has found the perect home, and even with kids, even though you do not have any living with you! I know she will always have a great life there, so thank you!

Mochi

.

Mochi is doing well. My daughter named him after the Japanese confectionary because he reminds her of it ---- white and soft with sweet brown filling spilling out. He is a wonderful sweet boy. He is so adorable that my husband spoils him.  (Here I was worried that he wouldn’t like him.)  However, I keep reminding him that he will be creating a little monster later.  Hopefully, formal obedience training will counteract any bad habits that Mochi picked up and help him become a well mannered dog.  You have done a great job picking him out for us! You listened to what we were looking for in a dog and found the perfect puppy for us. He loves people and dogs as well as cats.  Everywhere we go, people would stop and ask us what type of dog he is. Some think he is a sheep dog! They are drawn by his unusual markings and hazel eyes and amazed on how soft his fur is.  They also ask us where we got him and we would tell them about ASD Companion Labradoodles. Thank you Christina for selecting the perfect puppy with a great personality! We will keep you posted as he grows. Here are a few pictures.

Lillian and Family

He is a cutie! So I guess your husband has been won over, huh? It seemed that way from the moment he saw him! He is the perfect dog because you are perfect fro him! Let me know when he begins his therapy work!

Charlie

Hi Christina, I will be sending you a nice portrait of Charlie with O'Neil soon. I 've taken lots, not digital though. He is hard to photograph. He is either going full throttle, or sitting
very still. We love him sooooo much. He is very dear. And he's brought our other dog alive.
So, I will be sending you a picture soon. Hope you and your family are well...
By the way, I go to a dog park every day with him and everyone raves. I will give out your card as people ask...I don't know how much he weighs. Not a lot. He's a nice size(medium small)...what I like about him is how relaxed his body is a lot of the time...just melting into being petted. Calm when he's not in enthusiastic puppy mode.
My cousin who lives near you also said that will be the next dog she gets...He is a huge hit with everyone and everything we wanted...
We'll keep you posted...Nan

I can not wait to see him! I think his name is very fitting for him, ansd he has apparently found the perfect home as well! I am so glad that him and your other dog have become such great companions - it sounds like a perfect match! Talk soon!

Oliver and Spencer

...The boys are great!  Oliver is 19 pounds at just 5 months and Spencer is 13 pounds.  He really is a shrimp compared to Oliver, but holds his own when they are wrestling!  Everything is good with their development.  We only have an accident in the once every once in a while.  They have had all their puppy shots including rabies and this month or next we will get Oliver neutered.

We have begun basic training including walking on the leash.  They don’t do such a good job together, so we take them for walks separately until they start doing better on the leash.  We also read that it’s important for them to have time alone and apart from each other especially for training.  Which is never for them, they are inseperable.

We are back to work of course and that has thrown us for a major loop! ...Seems to be working well so far.  Anyway, I will try to figure out the picture thing soon, you will not believe how big Oliver is.  Though Spencer is quite smaller, he is super stocky.  Shorter legs, rounder belly, fuller all over! Perhaps we can come visit if I can’t figure out the pictures!  Thanks for checking in and I hope all is well with your family!

Amanda and Family

You jsut wait until Oliver is neutered, and that "shrimp" decided that he is not the MAN! We know they would have a great life with you all, and are so happy they have you as well as each other! See you soon!

Buddy

.. ..

Hi Christina,

We are SOOOOO in love with Chief!  The girls named him "Buddy".  They were in shock when they first saw him.  They couldn't believe he was a real, live puppy!  Anyhow, he is doing well.  He whined for less than a minute when we put him in his crate last night.  Then he fell asleep and slept all through the night.  I didn't sleep so well however, like a new mommy worried about her baby!  :)  He hasn't had much time to get down and explore yet.  Our girls have been taking turns loving him.

He is so adorable, so loveable, and brightens up our day!  We took him with us today for our annual family portrait.  He sat right there in the middle of us.  Reagan got to hold him on her lap for their Santa picture too.  He just fits right in around here.  The girls can't wait to see him as soon as they wake up (neither can Jeremy and I), and they spend their days playing with him, or holding him and giving him love.

I'll attach a few pictures. Thank you so much!  He is so precious!

Jennifer and Fam

How cute is your family?! Your girls are adorable! Isn't he the most laid back pup ever?! He must be in heaven there with all of those little girls to attend to him - thank you soooo much for being the perfect family for your little guy! I can't wait to see the video version if you can figure it out - I would actually pay you to see their adorable reaction to the surprise!

Samson

...

Hi Christina,

Here are some more pictures of Samson. He gets cuter and smarter every day! Sammy is very playful and has lots of energy. He and I go running a few times a week, and he loves it. He also loves playing with my cat. They are such good pals, it is adorable. Samson also loves kids. Since I don't have children, I imagine they remind him of his first weeks at your house. Samson is very smart. He knows quite a few commands and has been able to learn them quickly. It usually only takes him a couple of minutes to learn a new command! He has a great temperment and personality. He is so sweet and friendly. And of course, Samson is the cutest puppy. I have had people stop their cars while driving down the street to tell me that he is just so adorable. I think he actually continues to get cuter as he grows up. His coat is growing out, long, soft, and curly. And to my surprise, it doesn't require much grooming. He doesn't shed, or tangle, and his coat seems almost dirt resistant. His green eyes, and white tuxedo markings are beautiful and distinctive. Thank you so much for breeding such a wonderful puppy. I can't imagine having a better dog.

People ask all the time where I got my puppy from, and I am happy to be able to refer them to such a great breeder. As he continues to grow up I'll try to send you some more pictures so you can see what a great dog he is growing into.

Best, Jessica

I knew you would be the best Mommy for him! Aren't puppies better than husbands? - No offense to the guys, but a puppy can not talk (or not listen), and leave their pants NEXT to the laundry bin! I can't wait to see him as he grows! Thank you for being such a great mommy for him!

Kona

          .

Sorry for the delay getting back to you...crazy week!  Kona went back in to the vet last Tuesday.  She had gained 2 pounds in 5 days-wow!!!  She's growing fast and we are so in love with her!! She is the perfect, perfect dog!  Dad, she is a total foot warmer.  I think it's her favorite thing to do :) Thank you again!  She is a fantastic puppy and we feel so privileged to have her...

She is just the best, smartest puppy ever!  She can fetch and retrieve a tennis ball now, doesn't make a peep in her crate and is only pooping in the house about once a day now (sigh!) but that's getting better.  Really, it's probably more about training us than her...

On a different note, I've passed your name on to everyone who meets Kona.  Some friends are considering a puppy soon so be on the look out ...  Also, my friend has an autistic son and may be contacting you about the dogs and their therapy value.  We think you are the greatest and I'm happy to be your Bay Area PR person :)

Have a great night and all of the new puppies look super cute!  You are remarkably busy up there!  I also love that you send out your e-mails at 2:00 AM-it's confirmed-you NEVER sleep!!  Amazing.  Not sure how you do it!!

Talk soon,
Amy

Like I said, I think it was GREAT that you drove all the way up here w/o even talking to me just to get your baby! That means you are either the perfect family for her (or you are nuts ; ) ), and she belonged with you all to begin with! I bet you all have a blast there, and I am thinking about showing up on your door step to STAY some day! Thanks for being her perfect family!

Thanks families! What lucky doggies!
